Manager – Reporting & Escalation Oversight (Reconciliation Governance)

About the role

We are looking for a Manager to lead the reporting, analytics and escalation management function for reconciliation activities across the Central Reconciliation Unit. The role will ensure that aging breaks, SLA compliance and control gaps are actively tracked, escalated and governed, providing senior management with actionable insights through dashboards and governance packs.

Key responsibilities

• Produce timely and accurate governance dashboards and presentation packs for FROC, ORRC and OGRM forums.
• Maintain full visibility of aging and unmatched reconciliation items and drive their closure.
• Enforce the escalation matrix, applying T+X rules, assigning owners and monitoring action timelines.
• Monitor and report monthly SLA adherence for reconciliation completion and break closures.
• Identify recurring break reasons, flag process or system gaps and recommend improvements.
• Ensure data consistency across source systems (e.g., TLM, Flex) and reporting platforms, implementing automated follow‑up mechanisms.

Required profile

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Finance or Analytics; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in banking operations, governance or reporting, with exposure to reconciliation or risk reporting.
• Deep understanding of reconciliation processes (Nostro, internal accounts, VAT, regulatory).
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, GL accounting principles and audit requirements.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and dashboard creation.
• Proficiency with reconciliation platforms such as TLM.
