Manager, SMB Account Management

About the role

Motive is looking for a seasoned sales leader to manage its Small‑Business (SMB) Account Management team. The manager will oversee a global group of Account Executives who grow revenue from existing SMB customers across industries such as trucking, construction, and logistics. The position is primarily remote with occasional travel to Motive’s Pakistan offices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of SMB Account Executives to exceed monthly and quarterly bookings and revenue targets.
• Define inbound and outbound appointment and pipeline targets, ensuring consistent execution and KPI tracking.
• Drive adoption of Motive’s sales playbook and align CRM processes, training, and coaching programs.
• Coach the team on prospecting, qualifying, upselling, and cross‑selling to SMB accounts.
• Oversee disciplined pipeline planning, accurate forecasting, and clear deal status reporting.
• Leverage Motive’s product portfolio (VG, Dashcam, Motive Card, new products) in every sales pursuit.
• Review calls regularly, provide feedback, and improve sales capabilities for shorter SMB sales cycles.
• Track, audit, and forecast business performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support demos and negotiate larger or complex deals when needed.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in international sales.
• Proven track record as a sales leader managing high‑performing teams.
• Exceptional communication and strong people‑management skills.
• Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally to Pakistan.
