Manager – Training, Monitoring & Evaluation & Implementation

About the role

The Department of Community Health Sciences at Aga Khan University is seeking a Manager to lead training, monitoring & evaluation and implementation activities for a 12‑month integrated health‑systems project focused on strengthening health security, immunisation and disease control in Sindh, Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination and implementation of project activities according to approved work plans and timelines.
• Develop, coordinate and monitor training programmes, including schedules, materials and post‑training assessments.
• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, tools, indicators and reporting mechanisms.
• Monitor project implementation against milestones, targets and performance indicators.
• Coordinate routine data collection, validation and review to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct regular monitoring visits, provide technical support to field teams and address implementation gaps.
• Analyse project data, prepare periodic reports, dashboards and presentations for donors and stakeholders.
• Facilitate communication among technical, field, administrative and partner teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies or a related field from an HEC‑recognised or reputable foreign university.
• Minimum seven years of relevant experience in programme implementation, training, M&E, research or public‑health programmes, preferably on donor‑funded projects.
• Proven experience coordinating field‑based programmes and working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience developing and applying M&E frameworks, data collection tools and reporting systems.
• Experience in training coordination, facilitation and capacity‑building activities.
