Manager/Deputy Manager Internal Audit

About the role

The Manager/Deputy Manager Internal Audit leads the execution of the master audit plan, ensuring audits are completed on schedule and delivering clear, actionable reports. This position drives continuous improvement of business processes and controls within a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the master audit plan for efficient audit execution.
• Conduct surprise, periodic, and IT/MIS audits and prepare detailed findings for the Head of Process Audit.
• Identify process gaps, collaborate with management, and implement corrective action plans.
• Perform documentation and financial audits, producing comprehensive risk and recommendation reports.
• Coordinate with departments for budget planning based on audits of assets, expenditures, and operations.
• Monitor timely follow‑up and closure of audit recommendations.
• Assist in talent acquisition, training, performance management, and capability development of the audit team.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant / ACCA / ICMA (qualified or finalist) or B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role.
