Material Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Material Planner to ensure the timely supply of raw and packaging materials for our production lines in Karachi. The role focuses on maintaining inventory levels, executing call‑off schedules and supporting short‑term production plans.

Key responsibilities

• Run weekly MRP based on the agreed production plan and generate reports for the Planning Manager.
• Perform daily material call‑offs, monitor supplier deliveries and keep stock at target levels.
• Chair monthly S&OP meetings with suppliers to resolve operational issues and drive improvements.
• Manage packaging material up‑/down cycles for innovations or promotions to minimise waste.
• Maintain system master data, ensure data hygiene and support OTIF implementation of SNC.
• Execute savings projects in coordination with the Supply Management team.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in supply planning, material planning or import planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering or Business Administration.
• Supply‑chain qualification (e.g., APICS) is an advantage.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (S&D, MM, MPS, APO modules).
• Familiarity with Kinaxis (plus).
• Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
• Experience using ERP systems for material planning.
• Knowledge of MRP processes and S&OP meetings.
