Maths Teacher (Classes VIII, IX, X)

About the role

The Educators is looking for an experienced Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging classroom instruction for grades VIII, IX and X. The role involves preparing students for both departmental and board examinations while fostering a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver clear, syllabus‑aligned lessons in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, mensuration and basic calculus.
• Create lesson plans, worksheets, tests and revision materials tailored to local examination formats.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate records.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including remedial and extension activities.
• Prepare students for board exams with practice tests and revision sessions.
• Maintain classroom discipline, safety policies, and communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in secondary mathematics topics.
• Proven classroom management skills for groups of 20–40 students.
• Ability to design assessment‑aligned instructional materials.
• Good communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork.
• Familiarity with basic teaching aids and digital tools.
• Preferred B.Ed or relevant teaching certification and experience with board exam preparation.

Required skills

• Basic digital literacy (use of whiteboard, projector and preparation of teaching resources).
