Maths Teacher

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Maths Teacher to deliver engaging mathematics lessons to assigned grade levels at Imani School, a new independent school in Islamabad. The role involves planning, preparing and teaching curriculum‑aligned content while contributing to a positive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that develop conceptual understanding and problem‑solving skills.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs and use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress.
• Create clear lesson plans, learning objectives and supportive teaching materials.
• Manage classroom behaviour with consistent, positive routines and maintain accurate attendance and assessment records.
• Maintain assessment records, prepare reports and meet timelines tied to the school calendar.
• Collaborate with grade‑level teams and school leaders to design scope, sequence and assessments.
• Participate in school start‑up activities and faculty development initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong subject knowledge in mathematics across elementary to secondary levels.
• Proven classroom teaching skills, including lesson planning, assessment design and behaviour management.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and employ multiple teaching strategies.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Organisational skills to maintain records and meet deadlines.
• Experience collaborating on curriculum or assessments.
• Preferred experience in start‑up or new‑school environments and commitment to professional development.
