MEAL Officer – Female

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is seeking a dedicated Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer to support its programmes in Pakistan. The role focuses on collecting, analysing and reporting data to improve health, protection and vocational training initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring and evaluation plans for health, protection and TVET projects.
• Conduct frequent field visits, covering approximately 70% of work time, to gather quantitative and qualitative data.
• Analyse data, develop dashboards and produce analytical reports for programme managers and donors.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure data quality and timely reporting.
• Support the preparation of evaluations and learning activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in humanitarian health, protection or TVET programmes.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload and meet strict deadlines.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Urdu and Pashto is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis.
• Experience with statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Proficiency in creating dashboards and writing analytical reports.
• Excellent computer and report‑writing skills.
• Effective communication and coordination with field teams.
