Mechanical Engineering Professor (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Professor to design and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses for a global online education platform. This fully remote contract role allows you to shape curriculum, mentor students, and contribute to accessible engineering education worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and teach mechanical engineering courses at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Create and update syllabi, lecture slides, and virtual lab exercises.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and project work.
• Provide academic support via virtual office hours and mentorship.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to improve learning outcomes.

Required profile

• PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum three years of university‑level teaching experience.
• Proficiency with online teaching platforms and learning management systems.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and solid mechanics.
• Experience with CAD software and engineering simulation tools.
• Ability to develop engaging virtual learning materials.
