Mechanical Project Manager

About the role

MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead on‑site execution of high‑rise building projects in Karachi. You will be responsible for delivering mechanical, electrical and plumbing works while ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and hand over HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting, VRF, natural gas and other mechanical utility systems.
• Prepare and control project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Manage budgets, cost control, productivity monitoring and resource allocation.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary site teams, subcontractors and consultants to resolve design conflicts.
• Oversee contract administration, BOQ, tender drawings, specifications and variation claims.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements and as‑built documentation.
• Ensure QA/QC, testing & commissioning, snag rectification and safe HSE practices.
• Maintain project documentation in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 13–15 years of experience in MEP works, with at least 5–7 years as a Project Manager on high‑rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA and local authority requirements.
• PMP certification is an advantage.
• Immediate availability or short notice period preferred.
