Media Communications Specialist

About the role

Ocean1 Private Limited is an overseas education advisory company helping students find suitable universities, colleges and institutes abroad, working with institutions in the USA, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, Poland, Portugal, the UK, Turkey, Malaysia, China and others. It is hiring a full-time, on-site Media Communications Specialist in Karachi to develop and run media communication plans that promote its services and brand across traditional and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Draft press releases and coordinate public relations activities
• Maintain relationships with media outlets
• Manage social media marketing campaigns and create and publish multimedia content
• Support video production for promotional and informational purposes
• Monitor campaign performance and ensure consistent messaging
• Collaborate with advisory and management teams so communications match organizational goals

Required profile

• Experience in education consulting, international education or a related sector is beneficial
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Karachi, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
