Medical Coder – Night Shift

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Coder to join our healthcare team on the night shift. The role involves reviewing patient records, assigning accurate codes, and ensuring compliance with US coding guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze patient medical records and clinical documentation.
• Assign accurate ICD‑10‑CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on documentation.
• Identify missing or unclear information and coordinate for clarification.
• Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and meet assigned targets.
• Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and payer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Sciences, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant medical coding experience.
• Basic knowledge of US healthcare/medical billing processes (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
