Member of Technical Staff – Legal Research (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff to lead legal research initiatives for a global software development leader. Working remotely, you will translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into technical solutions that guide product development and ensure compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and case law to inform product decisions.
• Design and build technical frameworks and automation tools for legal research.
• Partner with product, engineering, and compliance teams to embed legal insights into design.
• Monitor emerging legal trends and assess their impact on technology solutions.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines for legal compliance.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
• Proficiency with legal research methodologies and tools.
• Experience conducting regulatory analysis and working with compliance frameworks.
• Ability to convert legal concepts into clear technical requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
