MEP Assistant Manager – Mechanical Project Management

About the role

The MEP Assistant Manager – Mechanical Project Management will lead the planning, execution, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects for our client. This position focuses on ensuring that denim garment washing and finishing machinery operate reliably while meeting project timelines, budgets and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute mechanical projects, defining timelines, budgets and milestones.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain and troubleshoot denim washing and finishing equipment to minimise downtime.
• Manage pneumatic, hydraulic, automation, boiler, HVAC, cooling, generator and power systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes.
• Lead corrective maintenance actions to restore production equipment quickly.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory and ensure material availability.
• Analyse equipment performance trends and recommend reliability improvements.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for management review.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all activities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in MEP or industrial mechanical maintenance.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage complex mechanical systems.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
