MEP Engineer – Facility Management

About the role

The MEP Engineer will lead the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for large‑scale facilities. You will ensure optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee HVAC, VRF, cooling towers, BMS, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Monitor BMS and energy consumption to improve efficiency and reduce kWh usage.
• Lead MEP technicians and supervisors while managing third‑party contractors.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, life‑safety, and EHS standards.
• Implement preventive‑maintenance (PPM) schedules to enhance equipment reliability and asset life.
• Support maintenance budgeting, audits, cost optimisation, and emergency repairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of experience in MEP operations, facilities management, or building services.
• Experience in commercial malls, hospitals, large hotels, or similar facilities is preferred.
