MEP Manager – Dairy Operations

About the role

The MEP Manager will lead all mechanical, electrical and plumbing functions for a large‑scale dairy farm. This senior on‑site position ensures reliable operation of milking parlors, cooling systems, power distribution and water networks, supporting continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain milking parlors, pumps, compressors, motors and ventilation systems.
• Maintain milk chillers, bulk tanks and cooling infrastructure, develop preventive maintenance plans and troubleshoot breakdowns.
• Inspect and service electrical panels, LT/HT distribution, generators and backup power to guarantee zero downtime.
• Oversee motor control systems, VFDs, energy‑management and automation support.
• Manage bore wells, storage tanks, water distribution, pipeline design, installation and leak‑detection programs.
• Maintain drainage, waste‑management and dairy‑grade sanitation standards.
• Lead and mentor MEP technicians, coordinate with farm management and construction teams, and keep detailed maintenance logs.
• Control spare‑parts inventory and procurement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of MEP experience in a professional setting, preferably in dairy, agriculture or industrial facilities.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams.
