About the role
Contour Software is looking for a Microsoft Office Developer/Architect to join its Karachi office. You will work closely with the BEC Legal Systems team and US product managers to design and build the next generation of Microsoft Word document automation tools using OfficeJS and modern web technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to migrate existing Word add‑in functionality to web‑based interfaces.
- Design and implement new capabilities that leverage Contour’s public REST API platforms.
- Become the internal subject‑matter expert for Microsoft 365 integration patterns and advise on future enhancements.
- Mentor fellow developers on best practices for modern Word and Office development.
- Ensure product quality, consistency, and performance through code reviews and active participation in team discussions.
Required profile
- Proven experience in legal document automation or similar domain.
- Ability to work on‑site in Karachi and coordinate with teams in the United States.
- Architect‑level design thinking and strong problem‑solving skills.
