Mid-Level Packaging & Label Designer

About the role

Vodo Fox, a software and creative agency in Islamabad, is looking for a skilled, detail-oriented mid-level Packaging & Label Designer. You will work on real packaging projects, product labels, brand assets and commercial design solutions for local and international clients, taking each project from concept to production-ready files.

Key responsibilities

• Design packaging and labels for food and beverages, beauty and skincare, supplements, wellness, electronics, home and kitchen products and other consumer goods.
• Develop several creative concepts from client briefs, brand positioning and target audience.
• Create and work with packaging dielines, including dimensions, panels, folds, cuts, bleed and safe areas.
• Prepare production-ready artwork for printing and manufacturing.
• Use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for layouts, typography, vector artwork, image editing, retouching and mockups.
• Maintain brand consistency across packaging, websites, Amazon content and social media, and design Amazon listing images and A+ Content when needed.
• Turn packaging concepts into promotional graphics and social media creatives, and use AI tools for research and ideation.
• Manage multiple projects, revisions and deadlines, present concepts to clients and collaborate with branding, marketing, UI/UX and development teams.
• Review final artwork for design, formatting and print-production issues.

Required profile

• Proven hands-on experience in packaging and label design.
• Ability to follow detailed briefs and deliver accurate, professional print-ready files.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication and time management, and ability to handle multiple projects independently.
• Portfolio showing packaging and label designs, print-ready artwork, branding, Amazon listings and social media creatives.
• Preferred: experience with Amazon listings, product mockups, social media creatives, AI-assisted design, international clients and packaging materials and production limitations.

Required skills

• Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop (essential)
• Packaging dielines, bleed, trim, safe areas, folds and print specifications
• Typography, visual hierarchy, composition, alignment, spacing, colour and layout
