Modern Trade Analyst

About the role

The Modern Trade Analyst will support National Foods Limited by monitoring and recovering outstanding payments and deductions from key modern‑trade customers. This role works closely with sales and legal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and timely collections.

Key responsibilities

• Establish a robust mechanism to track, monitor and report on outstanding payments, deductions and overall performance for key accounts.
• Analyse and reconcile transactions, identify discrepancies and investigate unpaid or overdue invoices.
• Review deductions applied to key customers and verify compliance with contractual terms.
• Collaborate with Modern Trade Sales and Legal teams to resolve invoicing, deduction and contract‑related disputes.
• Proactively follow up with customers to accelerate payment processes.
• Develop and implement collection strategies to improve efficiency and recovery rates.
• Identify opportunities to mitigate financial risk and enhance recovery performance.
• Drive process efficiency through best‑practice implementation and automation.
• Maintain and update Modern Trade SOPs, communicating changes to the sales team.
• Stay informed on industry trends and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate degree.
• Approximately 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
