Network and System Support Specialist

About the role

PwC's Karachi office is looking for a Network and System Support Specialist to join its Internal Firm Services IT team. You will provide Level 1 and Level 2 support, ensuring the network and system infrastructure runs smoothly for the firm’s business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain LAN, routers, switches, and wireless networks.
• Assist with network configuration, upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end‑users.
• Participate in network incident response and on‑call support as needed.
• Prepare documentation for annual network audits and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical problems.
• Manage network security, access controls, vulnerability monitoring, and secure configurations.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for global team interaction.

Required skills

• LAN, routers, switches, wireless networking.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, network security concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco or Juniper devices.
• Hardware, software, and connectivity troubleshooting.

• Network audit compliance, access control management, vulnerability monitoring.
