Network Engineer I – Entry Level

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Network Engineer I to join our team and help keep our enterprise network running smoothly. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining network infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network availability and performance on a daily basis.
• Perform initial troubleshooting and escalate issues when necessary.
• Execute routine changes, patch updates, and assist with device configuration and installation.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of network activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience as a networking engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Professional certifications (Cisco, Fortinet, Huawei) are preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of IP addressing, routing and switching.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPN and wireless technologies.
• Experience with network analysis tools such as SolarWinds.
