Network Security Architect – Banking

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Architect to lead the design, implementation, and operation of security controls for a banking environment. The role ensures high availability and compliance of security appliances and services.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain smooth operation of the bank’s IT security appliances and services, ensuring maximum uptime and adherence to ITSM SLAs.
• Administer, tune, and troubleshoot security controls, including firewalls, IPS, and other critical components.
• Proactively monitor firewalls, IPS, and other security devices to detect and mitigate potential threats.
• Manage security documentation, compliance with bank information security policies, and security baseline adherence.
• Lead security projects, migrations, and technical writing, including impact and root‑cause analysis.
• Handle change control, incident management, and audit/regulatory compliance activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in network security architecture within the banking or financial sector.
• Strong background in security operations, incident management, and change control disciplines.
• Proven ability to deliver security projects and perform technical writing and root‑cause analysis.
