Odoo Functional Consultant

About the role

The Odoo Functional Consultant at Taxdotcom is a full-time, on-site role based in Peshawar. This role involves gathering business requirements, mapping them to Odoo modules, and configuring functional workflows to support finance, accounting, sales, and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and map them to Odoo modules.
• Configure functional workflows for finance, accounting, sales, and operations.
• Conduct system demonstrations and lead user training sessions.
• Provide ongoing functional support and ensure smooth adoption of Odoo.
• Analyze existing business processes and document specifications.
• Coordinate with technical teams for customizations and test new features before deployment.
• Prepare reports and documentation, and maintain clear communication with clients.
• Continuously improve implemented solutions based on user feedback and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills to assess business needs and design Odoo‑based solutions.
• Excellent communication abilities for client workshops, training, and documentation.
• Understanding of finance, accounting, sales, inventory and operations processes within an ERP context.
• Experience in consulting, client management or solution implementation, preferably with Odoo or similar ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of finance principles and basic accounting concepts for configuring finance modules.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.
• Ability to work on‑site in Peshawar, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with the software implementation lifecycle (requirements, configuration, testing, training, support) is an advantage.
• Previous experience with Odoo or other ERP solutions and relevant certifications are a plus.
