Odoo Functional Consultant (Retail Industry Expert)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant with deep expertise in retail operations. You will lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Odoo solutions across POS, inventory, CRM, sales, accounting, eCommerce, and multi‑store environments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze retail business processes and translate them into efficient Odoo solutions.
• Configure and customize Odoo POS, Inventory, CRM, Accounting, and eCommerce modules.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate third‑party applications such as payment gateways, WhatsApp, and logistics providers.
• Document business requirements, process workflows, and system improvements.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements for sales performance, inventory tracking, and customer engagement.
• Train retail staff and managers on Odoo POS, CRM, and Inventory usage.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets operational needs.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and continuously optimize retail workflows.
• Stay updated with the latest Odoo versions and retail industry trends.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant focused on retail.
• Strong knowledge of Odoo POS, Inventory, CRM, Sales, and Accounting modules.
• Experience managing multi‑store retail operations, supply chain, and warehouse management.
• Proven track record in business process analysis, ERP implementation, and functional testing.
• Excellent documentation skills (BRD, SDD, SOPs) and ability to conduct training sessions.
