On-Page SEO Specialist

About the role

Wisevu™ and its sister brands are looking for an experienced On-Page SEO Specialist to lead advanced SEO and AI‑driven optimization campaigns for healthcare, home services, and nonprofit clients. You will work closely with SEO strategists, content writers, and developers to translate strategy into precise on‑page improvements that boost relevance, authority, and search performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the full on‑page SEO workflow from research and planning to implementation, QA, and performance monitoring.
• Analyze keyword opportunities, search intent, competitor pages, and content gaps to pinpoint high‑impact optimizations.
• Create detailed content briefs and review existing content for accuracy, intent alignment, topical depth, and SEO best practices.
• Optimize metadata, headings, internal linking, page structure, and content organization.
• Validate technical SEO elements such as indexing, canonical tags, structured data, and crawlability.
• Implement updates in WordPress or coordinate with writers and developers to ensure accurate execution.
• Monitor results with SEO tools and recommend ongoing improvements based on data and business impact.

Required profile

• Advanced (C1) English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on on‑page SEO experience, preferably in an agency or digital marketing environment.
• Proven ability to conduct keyword research, search‑intent analysis, competitor analysis, and develop content strategies.

What we offer

• Fully remote work with a 9 AM‑5 PM Eastern Time schedule (Monday‑Friday).
• Starting salary between $2000‑$4000 CAD per month (negotiable).
• At least 7 hours of daily overlap with the Eastern Time zone for collaboration.
