Online Quran Teacher

About the role

Shamim Majeed Foundation, a nonprofit based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, is looking for a dedicated Online Quran Teacher. The role involves delivering structured, engaging Quran lessons to students of various ages through approved online platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct individual or small‑group Quran sessions remotely, covering reading, Tajweed, pronunciation, memorisation and revision.
• Assess each learner’s progress and adapt lesson plans to suit their level and needs.
• Maintain accurate attendance records, lesson notes and provide constructive feedback to students and, when appropriate, their parents or guardians.
• Promote punctuality, respectful conduct and positive learning habits during every session.

Required profile

• Strong Quran recitation skills with accurate pronunciation and practical Tajweed knowledge.
• Excellent verbal communication, patience, empathy and a respectful teaching manner.
• Ability to prepare age‑appropriate lessons and adjust teaching methods for different proficiency levels.
• Reliable internet connection, quiet teaching environment and consistent attendance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video‑conferencing platforms for online instruction.
• Experience using digital teaching materials and basic computer tools.

What we offer

• Full‑time remote contract with a monthly salary of PKR 35,000‑50,000.
