Operational Excellence Intern – Production & Supply

About the role

This internship supports Operational Excellence within GSK's production and supply functions. You will assist in planning, monitoring, and coordinating activities to ensure smooth operations and on‑time delivery while contributing to data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, monitoring, and coordinating production or supply activities.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data (production, inventory, quality metrics) and prepare reports or dashboards.
• Support continuous‑improvement and lean projects by identifying inefficiencies and helping implement solutions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, logistics, procurement, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Help maintain accurate records and SOPs, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Participate in assigned projects, track progress, and meet timelines and deliverables.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in any discipline.
• Interest in operational excellence, process improvement, and supply‑chain within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Analytical mindset for data analysis and KPI/dashboard preparation.
• Basic understanding of operations, supply chain, and quality/compliance requirements.
• Attention to detail, documentation discipline, and focus on product integrity and patient safety.
• Collaborative mindset for cross‑functional teamwork.
