Oracle EBS Technical Support Consultant

About the role

Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) is looking for an experienced Oracle EBS Technical Support Consultant to join its consulting unit in Karachi. The role focuses on L2/L3 support, troubleshooting, and development of customizations for Oracle E‑Business Suite R12.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 technical support for Oracle EBS R12 applications.
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, service requests, and technical issues within SLA timelines.
• Troubleshoot Oracle Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Workflows, and Concurrent Programs.
• Develop, modify, and support customizations, extensions, and PL/SQL objects.
• Create and maintain Oracle Reports, XML Publisher/BI Publisher, and SQL‑based reports.
• Maintain inbound and outbound interfaces and data integrations.
• Analyze concurrent request failures and resolve underlying technical problems.
• Support and troubleshoot Oracle EBS workflows.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform data fixes and validation using SQL/PLSQL.
• Document customizations, interfaces, reports, fixes, and support activities.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and recommend preventive measures.

Required profile

• Approximately 4 + years of hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS R12 technical support and development.
• Proven ability to deliver L2/L3 support and resolve production issues within defined SLAs.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work closely with functional teams.
