Order Taker

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Order Taker to join our team at Soy & Spice, a Pan‑Asian restaurant in Multan. You will be the first point of contact for guests, taking food and beverage orders in person and by phone, and ensuring a smooth, friendly dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and take accurate orders using our ordering system.
• Answer menu questions, suggest items and promote specials to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
• Handle payments, process cash and card transactions, and provide receipts.
• Maintain a clean and organized order‑taking area and follow all restaurant policies.
• Support the team during peak periods, including assisting with inventory or stock movement when needed.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a courteous, professional demeanor.
• Sales‑oriented mindset with the ability to upsell menu items.
• Quick learner of standard operating procedures and willing to help train new teammates.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage items and service standards.
• Attention to detail, numeracy skills for cash handling, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior restaurant or retail experience is a plus.
