Paralegal Expert (Remote Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for a Paralegal Subject Matter Expert to work remotely on an hourly contractor basis. You will evaluate AI‑generated legal support responses, create high‑quality paralegal content, and provide detailed feedback to improve the accuracy and clarity of AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content such as prompts, document templates, checklists, research summaries, and drafting examples.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses for correctness, clarity, formatting, and procedural usefulness.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies, misleading certainty, confidentiality risks, and bias.
• Fact‑check legal‑adjacent information and write clear explanations of correct legal methods.
• Rate and compare multiple AI responses based on reasoning quality.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; certification is a plus.
• 4+ years of professional experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm, in‑house, or public sector.
• Strong knowledge of legal support workflows, research, and summarizing authorities.
• Familiarity with litigation or transactional processes, depending on the lane.
• Excellent attention to detail and minimum C1 English proficiency.
• Ability to handle confidential information securely and work independently across time zones.

Required skills

• Document drafting, version control, and matter organization.
• Experience with AI data training/annotation or editorial review (preferred).
