Part‑time AI Solutions Engineer Instructor

About the role

Edversity is launching a 13‑week AI Solutions Engineer Specialization and seeks a part‑time instructor who can guide beginners through building real AI products. The role is fully online and focuses on hands‑on teaching rather than theory.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver approximately 6 hours of live online sessions each week for a 13‑week cohort.
• Teach learners to create practical AI applications using Python and modern AI tools.
• Guide students through weekly hands‑on projects, including LLM apps, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, AI agents, and deployed AI products.
• Review student GitHub repositories and provide clear, real‑world feedback.
• Support learners in completing a deployed final capstone project and building a portfolio that showcases AI engineering skills.
• Maintain a simple, outcome‑focused teaching style: “show me it runs”.

Required profile

• Demonstrated hands‑on experience building and shipping LLM‑based applications.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Practical knowledge of modern AI frameworks and tools (LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases, agents, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, etc.).
• Understanding of production‑level AI concerns such as evaluation, guardrails, deployment, and reliability.
• A public GitHub profile, portfolio, or deployed AI product that evidences real work.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in a beginner‑friendly manner.
• Patience, clarity, and a genuine interest in helping learners build real projects.
