Physics Professor (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Physics Professor/Researcher (PhD) to join a global leader in education, research services, and technology on a contract basis. This remote position focuses on cutting‑edge quantum physics research, high‑impact publications, and mentorship of junior scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in quantum mechanics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Publish original findings in peer‑reviewed journals and present at international conferences.
• Supervise graduate students and postdoctoral researchers, providing project guidance and manuscript review.
• Develop and refine theoretical models to explain experimental data or propose new hypotheses.
• Secure external funding through grant proposals and partnerships with academic or industry partners.

Required profile

• PhD in Physics with specialization in quantum physics, condensed matter, or high‑energy physics.
• Minimum five years of postdoctoral research experience.
• Proven record of publications in top‑tier journals such as Physical Review Letters or Nature Physics.
• Experience mentoring graduate students and junior researchers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Python for computational physics.
• Experience using Mathematica.
• Familiarity with COMSOL Multiphysics.
