Planning Engineer – Mechanical Turnaround

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Planning Engineer with strong experience in Primavera, budgeting and cost control. The role is ideal for a seasoned Mechanical Engineer who has proven expertise in turnaround planning, project execution and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed shutdown and turnaround schedules using Primavera P6 and prepare Level 3 & Level 4 schedules for mechanical works.
• Define activity sequences, durations and logic based on shutdown strategy and integrate mechanical scope with other disciplines (E&I, Civil, QA/QC, HSE).
• Support shutdown preparation, execution and post‑shutdown close‑out, coordinating with site teams, construction, maintenance and operations.
• Track daily progress, update schedules, identify risks and propose recovery plans.
• Monitor manpower, productivity and equipment utilization; prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in planning, SAP PS, budgeting and cost control.
• Proven experience in turnaround planning and shutdown management.
