Planning & Forecasting Lead

About the role

The Planning & Forecasting Lead will own the full monthly and annual planning and forecasting cycle for key markets within GSK’s Planning & Forecasting Hub. You will partner with senior stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, globally aligned forecasts and analyses that drive confident decision‑making and support shareholder communication.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the market forecast update, incorporating new product launches, risks, and opportunities, and present results at management reviews.
• Own P&L and flash sales performance commentaries, providing clear variance analysis against plan, prior year, and forecast.
• Drive annual planning activities, set the calendar, secure submissions, and obtain sign‑offs.
• Prioritise and resolve ad‑hoc business requests, escalating trade‑offs when capacity is constrained.
• Coach and develop Planning & Forecasting analysts, building modelling and analytical capability across the team.
• Simplify processes, improve agility, and embed digital and AI tools to enhance forecasting efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience running a full planning and forecasting cycle across multiple markets or a strategically important market.
• Strong analytical ability to turn data into concise commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Experience coaching or developing others.
• Understanding of digital, AI, automation, and financial systems.
• University degree in Finance or Business (or equivalent); professional accountancy qualification is a plus.
