Principal AI Engineer

About the role

Mobiz is seeking a Principal AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and Generative AI solutions for enterprise clients. You will work in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment, turning innovative ideas into scalable, production‑ready applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable AI/ML and Generative AI solutions that meet client and internal requirements.
• Lead end‑to‑end AI solution delivery, from rapid prototyping and ideation through production deployment.
• Build AI‑powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, deep learning, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing products, platforms, and services while ensuring performance, cost efficiency, and security.
• Drive rapid experimentation, validate emerging technologies, and translate ambiguous business challenges into practical AI solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, establish best practices, and define architecture for AI engineering initiatives.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software development experience with a strong track record of technical leadership.
• Proven ability to prototype quickly and deliver production‑grade AI solutions.
• Out‑of‑the‑box thinker who balances speed of innovation with quality, scalability, and security.
• Passion for emerging AI technologies and a drive to stay ahead of industry trends.
