Principal .Net Software Engineer

About the role

Creative Chaos is seeking a Principal Software Engineer specialized in .Net to lead the development of server‑side applications and RESTful APIs. You will ensure high‑quality, secure, and performant solutions while mentoring a team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing training and guidance.
• Analyze business requirements, estimate tasks, and deliver code with unit tests.
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend components on .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC, and Web API.
• Optimize code for security and performance, and fix existing issues.
• Maintain version control, update issue‑tracking systems, and communicate status to clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6‑8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to evaluate candidates for open positions.

Required skills

• .Net Core, ASP.Net MVC, Web API
• Azure and AWS cloud platforms
• Relational and NoSQL databases: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
• RESTful API development and security standards
• Unit testing with at least 90% coverage
• GitHub, JIRA, and other collaboration tools
