Principal of Nursing Sciences

About the role

Alliant College of Professional Studies is seeking an experienced and dynamic Principal to lead its Nursing Sciences Department. The role involves overseeing BSN and nursing diploma programs, ensuring compliance with Pakistan Nursing Council and HEC standards, and mentoring faculty and students toward clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall academic and administrative leadership to the Nursing Department.
• Ensure compliance with Pakistan Nursing Council regulations, accreditation requirements, and HEC guidelines.
• Develop, review, and update curricula in line with regulatory standards and evolving healthcare practices.
• Oversee faculty recruitment, mentoring, performance evaluation, and professional development.
• Maintain quality clinical training through hospital affiliations and supervised practicums.
• Monitor student academic performance, attendance, and clinical competency assessments.
• Represent the department during PNC inspections, HEC audits, and other regulatory visits.
• Lead departmental planning, including admissions strategy, scholarship criteria, and program growth.

Required profile

• MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) required with a valid, current Pakistan Nursing Council registration/license.
• Minimum 8+ years of combined clinical, teaching, and administrative experience in nursing education.
• Demonstrated experience with PNC accreditation processes and regulatory compliance.
• Strong track record in curriculum development and faculty supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging students, faculty, and regulatory bodies.
