Private Equity Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Private Equity Attorney to join a leading global financial services firm on a contract basis. The position is fully remote and focuses on advising on fund formation, compliance and transactional matters for private equity and investment funds.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on structuring, formation and ongoing compliance of private equity and investment funds.
• Draft, review and negotiate fund agreements, side letters and related transactional documents.
• Provide regulatory guidance on SEC and other applicable financial regulations.
• Conduct due diligence for fund investments and transactions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to align legal and business objectives.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in private equity or investment fund law, including fund formation and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and other relevant financial regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to draft and negotiate complex legal agreements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
