Process Excellence Lead – Chocolate Manufacturing

About the role

As a Process Excellence Lead for the chocolate line, you will drive technical mastery and continuous improvement on a key manufacturing line at Mondelēz International. You will apply systematic, strategic thinking to ensure safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets are met while developing the next generation of line leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Break down site‑wide safety, quality, cost, delivery and sustainability targets into line‑level objectives and ensure team members understand their performance goals.
• Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and oversee governance, compliance and loss‑elimination initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning activities including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning and identification of high‑potential talent.
• Implement and sustain autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems on dedicated equipment.
• Drive total productive maintenance (TPM) and Six Sigma projects, including qualification of AM steps 5‑6 and PM step 3.
• Handle challenging interpersonal situations tactfully and influence in a unionized environment.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in industrial or electrical engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial/Electrical).
• Proven ability to lead line teams and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a union setting.
