Procurement Engineer

About the role

OTC is seeking a full‑time Procurement Engineer to join its on‑site team in Lahore. In this position you will be responsible for driving efficient procurement activities, supporting engineering and manufacturing operations, and ensuring that supplier relationships align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Manage purchase orders from creation to receipt, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare, issue, and review Request for Quotations (RFQs) and assess vendor responses.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve optimal value.
• Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to inform sourcing strategies.
• Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the procurement cycle.

Required profile

• Proficiency in supplier evaluation and purchase order management.
• Strong analytical abilities with experience preparing and responding to RFQs.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and issue resolution.
• Ability to work effectively on‑site and apply procurement best practices.
• Experience in the engineering or manufacturing sector is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
