Procurement Officer – Lahore

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead the sourcing and purchasing activities for Venus Group of companies in Lahore. You will be responsible for developing procurement strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring cost‑effectiveness and high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet company objectives.
• Evaluate, select and negotiate with suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability and service.
• Manage supplier relationships, conduct regular audits and monitor market trends.
• Prepare and review purchase orders, verify invoices and oversee payment processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, policies and internal procedures.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
• Proven track record in negotiating terms and managing supplier relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPSM or equivalent (a plus).
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using procurement software and related tools.
