Product Design Development Manager

About the role

The Product Design Development Manager will lead the design and development of new and existing products and components, overseeing the full product lifecycle from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product development, including concept design, CAD modeling, prototyping, testing, validation and production transition.
• Manage design documentation and coordinate regular design reviews with cross‑functional teams.
• Optimize products for manufacturability, cost and localization objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ISO requirements and drive innovation in materials and processes.

Required profile

• Strong product and mechanical design background with experience in stamping, casting, forging and machining.
• Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar).
• Experience in product development, project planning, cross‑functional coordination and cost‑down projects.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability and industrial engineering.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Product Design or related field.
• Relevant experience in automotive, OEM or precision manufacturing.
