Product Development Engineer – AM/DM

About the role

Thal Engineering, a leading automotive parts manufacturer, is looking for a motivated Product Development Engineer (AM/DM) to drive the development of new and existing components. The role combines hands‑on manufacturing experience with strong technical expertise to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead part development activities for new and existing components.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Manage technical evaluation and development of local and international vendors.
• Ensure quality, manufacturability, cost optimisation, and timely execution of development projects.
• Support project engineering and process engineering activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Industrial Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3‑5 years of experience in part or product development within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical, engineering and problem‑solving abilities.
