Product Technologist

About the role

GSK is seeking a Product Technologist to join its Manufacturing Science & Technology (MSAT) team in Karachi. You will work in a cross‑functional environment, applying state‑of‑the‑art systems to support continuous improvement, material assessments, and validation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and troubleshoot material‑related issues.
• Identify and implement process optimisation opportunities.
• Support process validation, lifecycle management and cleaning validation from protocol drafting to batch release.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, Engineering and R&D teams on investigations and improvements.
• Maintain Product Quality Lifecycle documentation, including control strategies and technical risk assessments.
• Participate in change‑control assessments and impact analysis.
• Contribute to packaging and manufacturing design enhancements.
• Explore digital technologies to streamline technical risk assessments.

Required profile

• Pharm‑D, Chemistry or Biochemistry degree.
• 1–2 years of experience in R&D, Quality Control or Production within a GMP environment.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Data analysis skills.
• Solid computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of GMP compliance.
• Knowledge of validation, cleaning validation and process validation.
• Familiarity with quality, safety and regulatory requirements.
