Production Data Entry Officer (Accounts Assistant)

About the role

This position is based in the manufacturing plant and is responsible for accurately capturing, verifying and logging daily production metrics. The role supports the plant’s efficiency by tracking output, material usage and waste, and provides reports to management.

Key responsibilities

• Enter daily operational parameters such as machine runtime, setups, outputs and job breakdowns.
• Record precise weights and details of substrates (BOPP, PET, PE, CPP) and adhesive batches.
• Audit waste and scrap across Rotogravure, Flexographic, extrusion and slitting lines.
• Cross‑check physical floor sheets with system entries to resolve discrepancies before closing batch records.
• Assist supply‑chain team by logging finished roll inventories, core weights and remaining raw material stock.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly performance and waste summary reports for plant management.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree with a basic understanding of mathematics, accounting or industrial metrics.
• 1–2 years of proven data‑entry experience, preferably in an industrial manufacturing or warehousing environment.
• High‑speed alphanumeric entry with a strict zero‑error target.
• Strong attention to detail when handling multi‑layered numbers, product codes and unit conversions (KG, GSM, Microns).
• Ability to work diligently in a fast‑paced factory and collaborate with supervisors and engineers.
