Project Accountant (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Project Accountant to oversee the financial side of construction projects. You will manage budgets, track costs, process invoices and ensure accurate reporting throughout each project’s lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets and job costs.
• Process vendor and subcontractor invoices.
• Prepare progress billings and payment applications.
• Track project profitability and forecast future costs.
• Reconcile project expenses and maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial accuracy.
• Assist with month‑end reporting and project close‑out.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
