Project Lead – Legal & Tech (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to lead a high‑impact project that designs and implements legal frameworks for emerging technologies. The position is fully remote and reports to a global technology leader, focusing on AI, data privacy and cybersecurity regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute legal strategies that align with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and compliance teams to embed legal compliance throughout development cycles.
• Lead risk‑assessment and mitigation activities for technology‑related legal challenges.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and policy documents.
• Provide legal guidance on intellectual property, data privacy, cybersecurity and AI regulations to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 7 years of legal experience, including at least 3 years in a project leadership role.
• Proven track record managing complex legal projects in technology‑driven environments.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of technology law, data privacy, cybersecurity and AI regulations.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and compliance frameworks.
