Project Manager – Grid & Substation Projects

About the role

As a Project Manager within Siemens Energy's Grid Technologies – Substations division, you will lead end‑to‑end execution of grid station and high‑voltage substation projects in Pakistan, overseeing delivery from sales handover through completion and closeout.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project execution, ensuring compliance with contractual, budgetary, schedule, quality, HSE and corporate standards.
• Develop and monitor execution plans, milestones, critical paths and coordinate engineering, procurement, civil works, installation and commissioning teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks and opportunities, support partner and subcontractor selection, and represent projects in decision‑making boards.
• Act as primary contact for customers, subcontractors and internal stakeholders, managing contracts, variations, claims and change orders.
• Own project financial performance – P&L, budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow, revenue recognition and cost control.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary project teams, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience managing complex engineering projects, preferably high‑voltage substation projects.
• Proven track record in project financials, contractual management and stakeholder coordination, with experience in Pakistan or the Middle East.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills, with a results‑oriented mindset.
