Project Manager – Nutrition Project

About the role

The International Rescue Committee is launching a short‑term nutrition project in seven districts of Punjab province. Based in Multan, the Project Manager will support the Program Coordinator in overseeing day‑to‑day project management, field supervision and reporting for this UNICEF‑funded initiative.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall support to the Program Coordinator for day‑to‑day management of the nutrition project.
• Ensure implementation of activities follows approved work plans and timelines, identifying gaps and proposing practical solutions.
• Supervise Nutrition Facilitators, IYCF Counselors and Community Outreach Workers, conducting regular check‑ins and review meetings.
• Update work and spending plans, track budget deviations and flag them to the Program Coordinator.
• Lead regular progress reviews, conduct field visits to OTP sites and outreach areas, and monitor quality of implementation.
• Prepare and submit progress reports on achievements, challenges and overall project status.

Required profile

• Strong project management experience in nutrition or health‑related programmes.
• Proven ability to supervise field teams and coordinate multi‑disciplinary staff.
• Excellent analytical skills to identify implementation gaps and develop practical solutions.
• Effective reporting and documentation abilities.
