Public Safety Associate

About the role

The Public Safety Associate supports enforcement of the University’s Code of Conduct, monitors compliance, addresses violations and contributes to a safe, respectful campus environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the University’s Code of Conduct across campus.
• Identify violations, take appropriate action and impose fines according to policy.
• Coordinate remediation measures, including community service assignments.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, reports, fines and related documentation.
• Conduct investigations and review Code of Conduct cases assigned by leadership.
• Support campus safety and security operations as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an HEC‑recognised university.
• 1–3 years of experience in a security or safety role, preferably in an educational or corporate setting.
• Professional, firm and courteous demeanor with strong integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and de‑escalate tense situations.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of fire safety procedures.
• Ability to use fire extinguishers safely.
